Due to Covid-19 Level 3 restrictions, Nobody In Particular, an exhibition by Conor Bereen is being extended for a further two weeks from Tuesday 5 to Sunday 18 October, at the later time of 1pm to 7pm daily.

A Fine Art graduate of Central St. Martin’s in London, Conor’s practice explores photography as part of his painting process. This exhibition centres around some of his street photography taken during visits to Brazil over several years.

The subjects in his work are for the most part strangers to him; a homeless man, a young boxer, children caught in the rain, sunbathers and children building sandcastles.

As images, moments in time, these characters are elevated into another world with a somewhat disjointed reality.

They ask the viewer to listen to their own ideas of who these people are and their own impressions of the world they inhabit.

They are subjects rich in form;  sometimes playful, sometimes jolly; sometimes achingly lonely.

The exhibition can be found on Coppinger Row, next door to Coppinger Row restaurant. To arrange a private viewing, email bookings@conorbereen.com.
