The packed Ireland Card Show at the InterContinental Dublin. The Winter Edition returns on 8 November.
Ireland’s first and longest-running trading card convention returns to Dublin this November, with the Ireland Card Show Winter Edition taking over the five-star InterContinental Dublin on Sunday, 8 November 2026.
And if the early numbers are anything to go by, it could be the biggest Winter Edition yet.
More than half of all tickets have already been snapped up well ahead of the event, with demand currently running ahead of every previous Winter show.
It marks another step in what has been a remarkable few years for the Ireland Card Show. What started in 2023 as a small gathering of collectors in Castlerea has grown into one of the country’s largest meeting points for the trading card community. The last two editions sold out completely, growing from 2,000 attendees to 3,500, and November is on course to continue that momentum.
More Than Just Buying and Selling
Doors open at 10am for a full day celebrating every corner of the hobby, with more than 80 vendors covering everything from Pokémon and sports cards to Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece and an ever-growing range of other trading card games.

Buying, selling and trading remain at the heart of the show, but the event has continued to expand beyond the traditional card-show format. Attendees will be able to trade freely throughout the day, access on-site PSA and ACE grading drop-offs, take part in giveaways, and follow the action on the live stage.
This year’s raffle is one of the biggest yet, with some amazing prizes up for grabs. Among them is a Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box, a fitting prize in the year Pokémon marks its 30th anniversary. Raffle tickets can be bought in advance on Eventbrite and will also be available on the day.
New for this edition is a Super Mario competition, giving visitors another way to get involved away from the trading tables.
Also returning is Ireland Card Show Creative Director Chris O’Gara, better known as @thegarashow. A familiar face at the event since its early days, Chris will be on the floor throughout the day creating content, meeting attendees and bringing his trademark energy to the show.

An Irish Show With a Growing International Reach
The growth of the event is also attracting increasing attention from some of the biggest names in the wider collectibles industry.
This November sees GTS Distribution join the Ireland Card Show as a partner. The largest wholesale distributor in the trading card and collectibles industry, GTS supplies hobby shops, breakers and specialty retailers with trading cards, supplies and related merchandise on a major scale. Its backing adds real industry weight to the Ireland Card Show’s continued growth and reflects the show’s rising profile beyond Ireland’s shores.
Collectr also returns following its involvement in previous editions. The collection-tracking and marketplace app has built a strong following among collectors and will once again be involved with giveaways and prizes for attendees.
The newest addition is TikTok Shop Ireland, which comes on board for the Winter Edition with dedicated content and promotion around the event. The partnership also connects the physical show with the rapidly growing world of live online collecting, creating new opportunities for the Ireland Card Show community to buy, sell and engage through TikTok Live Auctions.
Together, the partnerships reflect where the show is heading: still built around the collectors, traders and businesses that created the community, but increasingly connected to the wider international hobby.

Growing the Community Beyond the Show Floor
That growth hasn’t been confined to ticketed events.
Earlier this year, the Ireland Card Show teamed up with The Square Tallaght and South Dublin County Council for a free trading card activation at the shopping centre.
The response was huge, with around 1,500 people queuing throughout the day and 243 new Pokémon Player IDs registered on the spot, as collectors of all ages turned up to buy, trade and take part.
For the organisers, it was another indication of just how quickly the collecting community is growing and of the appetite for events outside the traditional convention format.
And This Is Only the Beginning
November’s Winter Edition closes out another major year for the Ireland Card Show, but attention is already turning to 2027.
With bigger events, new venues and further international partnerships in development, the show that began with a small gathering in Castlerea just three years ago is continuing to evolve.
For now, though, all roads lead to Ballsbridge.
