Autumn gets crafty at Richmond Barracks this weekend as the Harvest Fair returns to Inchicore on Saturday September 12th and Sunday September 13th.
Running from 11am–5pm, the free, family-friendly event takes its inspiration from three suitably seasonal themes: Eat, Grow and Make.
Expect creative workshops, seasonal crafts and plenty to keep little hands busy, from making Púca masks, pumpkin patch plushies and bean mosaics to creating colourful autumn prints and contributing to a harvest-themed garden installation.
There’s also shadow theatre with The Selfish Giant on Saturday, while Sunday brings music, stories and songs with Good Morning Garden for younger visitors.
Add food, drinks, live music from St James’s Brass and Reed Band, makers’ stalls and a visit to Inchicore Library, and you’ve got a lovely excuse to embrace the changing seasons.
Workshops can be booked on the day, subject to availability. Dogs are welcome too.
