‘A bespoke menu, handmade ceramics, a beautifully set table’…
Following the success of their Supper Club initiatives, the duo behind Landlover Food are dialling things up this Autumn with a new At Home experience and a series of casual three-course family-style sharing dinners in the works at Smock Alley.
Founded by Ballymaloe-trained chef Aideen White and creative host Sheena O’Byrne, the culinary pair focus on delivering immersive dining experiences built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, using produce from suppliers such as McNally Family Farm, Lilliput Stores and Sarah & Olive.

Both boast impressive culinary CVs. O’Byrne’s eclectic food-and-design journey has seen her run the gamut of everything from cheese and olive counters to floristry, pottery and hospitality, while White grew up around family food businesses, trained at Ballymaloe and spent more than 20 years cooking aboard private yachts.
Their latest venture sees them bringing five-course fine dining to Dublin tables, with an At Home experience featuring individually tailored menus, stunning floral arrangements, handmade ceramics and plenty of seasonal flair.

Speaking about the experience, which starts at €95pp for a minimum of 10 guests, O’Byrne says, “We love how collaborative the whole thing is. It starts with a conversation: ‘Who’s coming? What would make the night feel special?’ Then we build the evening around that. It doesn’t matter what your space looks like, we bring the occasion to you, which makes it especially easy around busy times like Christmas.”
Meanwhile, their very popular seasonal supper clubs continue at Lilliput Stores in Stoneybatter on November 20th, with more casual three-course family-style sharing dinners planned for Smock Alley on November 5th, and dates in December to be announced.
