Over the years, Broderick has played with with Nils Frahm, M Ward and Efterklang before forging his own solo career. Yet, the draw of collaboration is always gently calling and in this instance he has recorded Burren with East Forest, a multi-genre Portlandian artist. Recorded over a week in the aforementioned Burren this work is fertile, fragile and sensitive to its surroundings. There’s an intermingling and interdependency of sounds and harmonies which feel naturally at home with each other. For fans of The Gloaming.
