A weekend spent at the creative intersection where jazz, contemporary, rock and electronic music collide, with focus on the live and improvised – how bad? Among the highlights are free jazz saxophonist Peter Brötzmann, who is a frequent visitor to these shores and will be duelling in Fumbally Stables with pedal-steel guitarist Heather Leigh. Meanwhile, multi-instrumentalist, turntablist and sample artist Djackulate (aka Jack Dempsey Mc Mahon) will be in the Workman’s Club.
