This December sees a joint exhibition exploring resilience and the beauty of being human through contemporary portraiture and mixed media at Reds Gallery on Dawson Street. Entitled Layers of Feeling the exhibition features the work of Ann Mitchell, a self-taught contemporary artist making work from her own small studio, which she calls The Far Room, and Enrique Lazzaro, a Dublin-based Spanish sculptor and artist.
Mitchell’s work delves into the ancient and the eternal, manifesting the quiet, ethereal strength inherent on the human condition. Meanwhile, the canvasses of Enrique Lazzaro stand as a visceral testament to raw emotional expression, capturing the very essence of human experience.
Layers of Feeling runs at Reds Gallery, Dawson Street, Dublin 2 from 7pm on Thursday December 11th to 5pm on Wednesday December 18th. Entry is FREE.
