After two years of cult chaos and glitter-soaked glory, The Hoes of Tralee makes its theatre debut at The Sugar Club on August 22nd. Hosted by cabaret’s most chaotic duo, Joe on the Dolan and Linda Farten, the show promises a night of pure camp, wild talent, and county pride like you’ve never experienced before. The Hoes of Tralee is a no-holds-barred variety show celebrating Ireland’s rich underworld of alternative talent — drag, comedy, performance art, and feral beauty pageantry collide in one unhinged evening.
The 2025 Hoe lineup boasts a glittering mess of excellence. Representing Kilkenny is Kate Moylan, full of marble-town mystique and pure hurler energy. From Louth, Aurora Divine arrives with high drag glamour and a personal vendetta. Galway’s Daria de Colette brings elegance, edge and several cursed props. Donegal has dispatched Marian Mary the 6th, a deeply devout diva with unfinished business. Meg Reilly, aka Few Cans, travels all the way from Australia to show the locals how chaos is truly done. And from Cork, Hannah Hoops whirls in with a hoola-hoop and a chip on her shoulder.
Still untouchable, still unbothered, and still coasting on last year’s win, reigning Hoe Miss South Dublin Patsy Pleasure returns not to compete — but to judge you, spiritually.
This year’s judging panel includes Sexy Tadhg, and Margaret O’Connor. Dress code is ‘Hoe Formal’ – glitter, mesh, county sashes, Eurovision trauma, and absolutely no emotional stability.
Bring your flags. Bring your banners. Cheer for your county’s Hoe like your life depends on it.
Doors open at 7PM, show begins at 8PM, followed by an After Party featuring DJ Born in the 90s (aka Laura Lavelle).
