Think immersive sonic landscapes, and music old and new across an evening where diverse musical traditions and innovative compositions intertwine. The upcoming Kaleidoscope Night concert at Bello Bar will feature a blend of classical compositions and contemporary pieces, with works from globally recognized composers, as well as fresh, original creations.
The concert features the extraordinary talents of musicians Aisling Ennis (harp), Anna Cashell (violin), Lina Andonovska (flute), and Cello Croí (Annette Cleary and Sokol Koka, cello), along with Every Thing The Light Touches (keys and vocals).
The rich and diverse genre-spanning programme includes a world premiere of the Australian/English composer Andrew Ford’s literary-inspired Sad Steps for flute to the lively rhythms of Tico-Tico by Zephinha de Abreu for two celli! A second performance of Sam Perkin’s new work for harp and violin Jardin Magique and music from Norwegian composer Henning Kraggerud. Another Kaleidoscope Night of musical exploration.

The concert will also feature arrangements of iconic pieces such as Moon River by Henri Mancini ( all arranged by Annette Cleary and Sokol Koka), Tea for Two by Vincent Youmans, Danza de la Moza by Albero Ginastera, O Corta Jaca by Francesca Gonzaga, and a stunning rendition of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica, adding a contemporary twist to the classical mix. Audiences will also be treated to a special performance of Tico-Tico by Zephinha de Abreu. And to top it all off, expect beautiful and original songs from Danny Forde who goes by the moniker Every Thing the Light Touches.
