Delighted to see one of our favourite Irish artists has signed with the uber cool Domino Records label.
To celebrate, Róis, the Fermanagh-born, Dublin-based artist is partnering with Domino to produce a fully remastered version of the critically acclaimed 2024 album MO LÉAN with a new track.
MO LÉAN explores Irish death rituals, especially the Irish pagan tradition of caoineadh, or keening, during which veiled women gathered around a body to mourn through song.
The album was awarded Album of the Year title at the Northern Ireland Music Prize, and was shortlisted for the Choice Music Prize.
The digital version of the album will also feature a new track “PORT NA H-EALA.”
