Following a much-loved debut in 2025, Love Is A Stranger returns to Ballyvolane House in the rolling East Cork countryside from 17–19 July 2026, bringing another carefully curated weekend of music, food, conversation and immaculate vibes to one of Ireland’s most luscious country house settings.
Presented by Another Love Story, winners of the IMRO Best Small Live Music Festival award in 2024 and 2025, the intimate festival once again takes over the beautiful grounds, barns and hidden corners of Ballyvolane House for an exceptional weekend.
The festival boasts a line-up featuring Move D, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Fixity, Seamas Hyland, Sorcha Richardson, Theatre, John Spillane and more. Joining the programme are Cork DJs Eddie Kay, Danilo Milk and Jimmy Plugd, alongside acclaimed food collective Tiger Balm Club, who will host a special Southeast Asian-inspired Disco Lunch on the Ballyvolane terrace on Saturday afternoon.

“For Love Is A Stranger, we’ll be cooking a long, slow lunch inspired by the meals they love most. Expect a few snacks, some small plates, smoke from the grill and bowls of pork noodles built for comfort. Seasonal Irish produce. Southeast Asian flavours. All Killer, No Filler. Fish sauce is life.”
Cork DIY radio station Éist will broadcast live from the festival across Saturday afternoon. And, The Badger Sauna will provide the perfect festival break.
Artists and collaborators will perform across a limited-capacity Friday opening gathering, a full Saturday programme stretching from afternoon into the small hours, and the traditional Sunday closing concerts that have become a hallmark of Another Love Story events.
