With over 160,000 votes cast and counted, Deliveroo recently revealed the winners of its 2025 Restaurant Awards, celebrating the best and most loved local restaurants across Ireland and the UK.
First launched in 2018, the Awards recognise great restaurants across the country – from local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes, cuisines, and flavours in between.
This year saw a total of 65 awards up for grabs, and we’re told that competition was particularly stiff, with hundreds of thousands of votes cast by Irish fans keen to show support for their favourite local restaurants.
The final outcome revealed that nine Dublin neighbourhood eateries have risen above fierce nationwide competition to emerge as worthy winners across a variety of categories.
These include our old favourite Pablo Picante, who topped the Best Mexican category, Kerala Chicken which won out in the Best Indian and Nepalese category and Musashi which was voted Best Japanese Restaurant.
This year marked the introduction of several new awards, including Best Middle Eastern cuisine. The inaugural winner of this award is Reyna in Dublin, with a delighted Aylin Aydin saying,”It’s incredible to be named Deliveroo’s Best Middle Eastern restaurant in Ireland. Huge thanks to everyone who voted – your support means everything. We’re looking forward to serving up our award-winning Middle Eastern dishes to Dublin locals for a long time to come.”
Meanwhile Bujo in Sandymount won the Deliveroo award for Environmental Sustainability. Grainne O’Keefe, Culinary Director at Bujo said, “We are thrilled to have won the Deliveroo award for Environmental Sustainability. We go above and beyond to make sure we are as sustainable as possible from using eco-packaging and cooking with ethically sourced products all underpinned by an award winning waste management system.
We will continue to endeavour to serve the best burgers to the locals of Dublin in the most sustainable way possible.”

- Best Chicken: Mad Egg, Dublin
- Best Japanese: Musashi, Dublin
- Best Salads and Healthy Cuisine: Juice Jar, Dublin & Belfast
- Environmentally Sustainable Award (national award): BuJo, Dublin
