Rachel and Brian Nolan have been using simple wholefood ingredients to create imaginative and surprisingly indulgent treats since first launching their plant-friendly business under the moniker Nobó back in 2012.

The years since have seen them create Ireland’s first dairy free ice-cream, as well as their signature dairy free ‘milk’ chocolate, made using single origin cacao stone ground for twenty four hours with almond butter.

Now, in addition to launching an incredible new range of nut butters and spreads, they have opened the Nobó Treathouse, Dublin’s first plant-based treat shop on Dunville Avenue in Ranelagh.

In addition to chocolate, truffles, nut butters and ice-cream by the scoop, the new store carries a fine selection of super food smoothies, cold press juices and coffee by Dublin-based roaster Cloud Picker.

It also features a glass enclosed Chocolate Lab, where co-founder Rachel Nolan can often be found working closely with skilled craftspeople to create new variations and flavours for their hand-made truffles and pralines.

The team also produces a number of daily small batch Pantry items including Nutty Granola, Trail Mix and a selection of indulgent bakes such as lemon-blueberry and apple-cinnamon pistachio breakfast muffins, all of which are available to take away or to enjoy sitting at the benches provided outside. 47 Dunville Ave, Ranelagh.
