One of our favourite pop ups this summer has been the D-8TE experience at the outdoor Cocktail Village at Roe and Co., where the innovative distillery has been pairing a series of delicious menu takeovers with a selection of excellent whiskey cocktails.

Tasting menus so far have featured internationally inspired dishes from Pickle, Bahay, Nightmarket and Matsu Ramen, and this month, the plan was that it would be Lil Portie’s chance to shine, with grill-seeker Nick Reynolds set to close out the unique summer dining experience in style.

However, a recent announcement on Roe & Co’s instagram account revealed that Lil Portie has been postponed, and instead, Niall Sabongi brings his mouthwatering seafood offerings to the Roe & Co Cocktail Village, with signature lobster rolls, shucked oysters, fresh fried fish and daily specials from the Salty Buoy Truck to look forward to.

A specially curated whiskey cocktail menu designed to match each dish is also available. Bookings for tables of 2, 4 or 6 available over weekends until August 29.
