January fare generally tends towards austerity, but not so at the Butcher Grill in Ranelagh.

Chef Atish Bhuruth quietly updated the menu last month, replacing their brunch offering with a mouthwatering Weekend Roast.

Starters include Achill Sound Pacific oysters, tuna tostados and a white pudding scotch egg with homemade brown sauce.

With the main event featuring a tasty choice of rib roast beef, half a roast chicken or roast rack of pork, and a delicious bread and butter pudding to finish, it’s the perfect comfort food combo to tide you through the worst of January.
