We never tire of hearing about good quality whiskeys, so we were delighted to hear about the launch of The Lambay Irish Whiskey Company last month.

The Howth-based collaboration between Cognac producer Camus and the Baring Revelstoke Trust, takes its name from Lambay, a wildlife sanctuary owned by the Baring family since 1904.

The unique fusion of Irish whiskey with a cognac cask finish has spawned two delicious new distillations: Lambay Small Batch Blend and Lambay Single Malt.

Both can be enjoyed at city-centre locations including L. Mulligan Grocers, Celtic Whiskey Shop and Peter’s Pub.
