As May progresses, our thoughts turn to long summer days and the prospect of enjoying an outdoor tipple du jour.

We have our sights firmly set on the green and pleasant oasis that surrounds the Pav, while our plans also include exploring the pleasures of some of the city’s newest beer gardens. We’ll also be supping at the tranquil looking Bonobo, which recently opened its doors in the premises formerly occupied by The Richmond on Church Street.

We’re also looking forward to taking in the sunset in the salubrious environs of the nascent garden at The Dylan’s newly established ‘Nurserie’, where Friday night BBQs look pretty tasty.

The Nurserie Terrace area at the Dylan Hotel in Dublin.

A substantial selection of mains include teriyaki glazed salmon with spring onion and lemon; Thai style prawn skewers with avocado, smoked pork ribs with pineapple and chili glaze. They’ve really pushed the boat out with  grilled oysters with paprika, lemon and tomato butter and scallops cooked in the half shell with citrus, parsley and tequila.
