Qbanaa is a Cuban-Irish singer-songwriter blending neo-soul, R&B, Latin jazz, and pop into a sound that is both raw and distinctive. A multi-disciplinary artist, she writes, produces, and creates with community at the heart of her work.
She is the founder of Soul Juice, an improv jazz night and growing platform where musicians connect, collaborate, and express freely.
Qbanaa has opened for Buena Vista Social Club, Mahalia, toured with Ruby Waters, and performed at festivals including Electric Picnic, Cork Jazz, All Together Now, Forbidden Fruit, and Other Voices.
Her track Best Time reached No. 34 on the Irish Radio charts, earning her RTÉ Rising Star 2024 and cover star of the Irish Times Ones to Watch.
The Dublin Jazz Co-op presents Qbanaa at The Backroom at The Cobblestone, on Sunday July 26th.
