Accomplished artist Carina Scott presents Echos of Ireland, her debut solo exhibition in Dublin, unveiling a striking collection of landscapes and equine portraits at Reds Gallery.
At the heart of the exhibition stands a breathtaking life-size portrait of a Connemara pony, a powerful testament to Scott’s ability to capture the spirit and presence of these remarkable horses. Her bold brushstrokes and expert palette knife technique bring the pony to life, celebrating its strength, grace, and untamed beauty.
Scott, who now lives in France, is not only an artist but also an accomplished musician and breeder of show-winning Connemara ponies. In addition, Scott’s landscapes transport viewers to dramatic coastal vistas, where the interplay of light and colour dances across sky, sea, and land. Curated by Tony Strickland, this exhibition offers visitors a chance to experience Scott’s masterful work in an intimate gallery setting.
Running from Friday May 16th to Wednesday May 21st, with an official opening on Thursday, May 15th at 6pm, Echoes of Ireland offers what’s been described as “a captivating exploration of light, movement, and emotion”.
Opening Hours: 1.00pm – 5.30pm (Closed Sunday) Reds Gallery, Dublin.
