Dublin’s very first community ceramics studio Throwing Shapes recently announced the opening of the second round of Clay City, which supports developing ceramic artists.
A collaboration between the studio and Staycity Aparthotel, the programme includes three months of free accommodation in the Staycity in Dublin City Centre for the chosen applicants, as well as full access to the Throwing Shades studio, materials and mentoring.
This opportunity is specifically catered to those involved in ceramics and familiar with the craft, as it allows professional ceramics artists and instructors to pursue their craft and form connections in the industry.
