Photo Museum Ireland has just launched a free open call for participants in Momentum: A Skateboarding and Creativity Intensive Course.
The bold, unique, week-long creative programme will unite young people in Dublin’s skateboarding community through photography, animation, graphic design, zine-making, and visual storytelling.
This free project and course is open to skaters and aspiring creatives aged 15–19. Under the guidance of acclaimed visual artists Phil Evans, Rich Gilligan, and Darragh Shanahan, participants will experiment, collaborate, and create work that captures the energy, diversity, and attitude of skate culture, while building a wider network of like-minded skaters.

The application deadline is midnight, Sunday 5 October. To apply, send a one-page letter of interest, 7–10 examples of your creative work (photographs, drawings, designs, animation frames, or links to self-produced videos) and a photo of your own skateboard to darragh@photomuseumireland.ie.
Participants under 18 will require parental/guardian consent if selected.
The programme takes place from Monday October 20th to Friday October 24th. Good luck!
