This weekend sees the return of Arthouse, the annual charity art auction in support of Outhouse, featuring an extraordinary collection of works from Ireland’s top established and emerging artists.
The event was first launched five years ago to help reopen the centre after the pandemic, and it has since become a vital lifeline for the organisation. Your participation and donations ensure that Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre can continue to provide essential services to the beautifully diverse LGBTQ+ communities.
As violence, transphobia, and homophobia rise, the need for safe, supportive spaces like Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre has never been greater. Arthouse plays a crucial role in funding the centre’s mission to provide a safe space where everyone in the community can feel safe, seen, and celebrated. Your support through Arthouse directly impacts the organisation’s ability to meet these challenges head-on.
This year, Arthouse will once again be a timed online auction, offering you the chance to own incredible art while supporting the vital and life-changing work of Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre. All artworks have been listed on the online auction platform from for three weeks now, and buyers will be able to place bids right through until the final bids at the end of the live auction. All artworks will be divided across two separate auctions, either Day 1 or Day 2 of the live auction.
Final bids will start at 3pm on Saturday 8th November, and 3pm on Sunday 9th November.
Although the timed auction starts to close at 3pm, it will take 30 seconds per lot to close from the first lot onwards. You can bid right up until the final lot closes.
The auction will be accessible online at auction.outhouse.ie or via the free app, available on the App Store (for iOS) and Google Play (for Android).
