In a break with tradition, regulars of The Castle Lounge were recently spotted swapping pints for bottles at the official opening of the newly renovated space above the famous bar.
The first exhibition at The Gallery at Grogan’s launched on Culture Night last month, when fifty lucky souls were treated to a first look at works by artists Karen Lee, Nicky Harrington and others.
Curated by Orla Mellon, the show, aptly titled ‘Connection’, runs until October 20th, and can be visited by appointment or by buzzing at the side door.
Digest it all over a pint and a toastie downstairs afterwards.
