Though his lengthy back-catalogue has won praise for innovation, Wolf gives the distinct impression of an artist gripped by growing pains; ‘Vulture’ is typically challenging, with a passably danceable song hidden among the incoherent yelps and the random droning interludes. Also its difficult to gauge whether the bondage-inflected video is taboo-busting avant-garde or an elaborate homage to Zoolander.
