Firehouse Skank are back with even more high quality regae sound reproduction this weekend. They celebrate the launch of their 2nd 7″ vinyl release on the TNT imprint this Friday, September 29th in the Teacher’s club Dublin. Providing the music for the night will be:
Lariman – At the microphone stand, in a showcase style
Dan Taliras – Live dubwise into the depths of the echo chamber
t-woc – With the platters that matter
Aminah Dastan – Soul sister no. 1 on the mic
For the release, long time micman for Firehouse Skank, Lariman, delivers a killer vocal in Yoruba on ‘Kase Jeje’ – an ode to taking things easy, in everything one might approach in life. The rhythm – a sweet but tough Dan Taliras produced cut – sounds even heavier on the stripped back vintage FX touched dub side.
Vinyl copies will be available on the night with a special nice price for attendees to the dance.
Get there before 10 p.m. and it’s just €5 in (€8 after 10 p.m. and no admission after 12)
