A Book With Two Beginnings
The winner of the prestigious Finnish Photobook Award 2023, Hulda / Lilli explores empathy through storytelling. Designed to be read from both ends, it offers two intersecting journeys: one from the perspective of the predator, the other from the prey. In the centre, their paths collide — and the reader decides where their empathy lies.
Photo Museum of Ireland is currently hosting the Irish premiere of The Empathy Machine. The exhibition on show from 8 November 2025 – 1 February 2026
