Dracula: The Hunt & Stokerland – Bram Stoker Festival

Bram Stoker’s gothic masterpiece Dracula is returning to the city the first weekend of November with the annual Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival. On Sunday, 2 November, director Joan Sheehy presents “Dracula: The Hunt,” a theatrical reading at the Abbey Theatre of the novel’s final ten chapters of the thrilling chase of Dracula across the continent.

On Saturday and Sunday, families can visit St. Patrick’s Park, next to the Cathedral, to enjoy Stokerland with a Victorian-style carousel, performances, face-painting, oddball games and food stands. Sunday morning is a “relaxed session,” a more sensory-friendly experience.

And in time honoured fashion, this year also sees the Bram Stoker Festival  travelling across the world to the World Expo 2025 in Osaka to represent Irish culture and legacy as Halloween’s birthplace.

Dracula: The Hunt: 6:30 p.m. Sun 2nd November in the Abbey Theatre. Tickets via abbeytheatre.ie

Stokerland: 1st & 2nd of November in St. Patrick’s Park, Patrick St, D8.
