This October sees the return of the Eat Spain, Drink Spain initiative in which the city’s wine bars and restaurants shine a spotlight on the traditional and contemporary sides of Spanish food and wine.

This year’s festival sees Sebastian Skillings, aka The Hungry Fishmonger, making his first foray into the world of Supper Clubs, as together with olive queen Sarah Merrigan he’ll be showcasing some delicious Spanish style seafood in an event featuring six courses and an olive oil tasting.

Ticket prices include all six dishes, the olive oil tasting, and wine for the evening, with all proceeds going towards charities working in Gaza.

Speaking about the event on Instagram, Sebastian said, “With the horrific daily news and imagery coming out of Gaza, we felt that it was only appropriate to donate all proceeds from the supper club to charities working in Gaza. The more awareness, conversation and help, the better.”

The event takes place at SC Grocer, Deansgrange, on Friday October 10th. Tickets priced €85 are available to purchase on the @organize_events app and at @sarahandolivedublin.
