Casual day trippers to the coastal town of Skerries can look forward to sinking their teeth into some tasty sustainable seafood courtesy of Niall Sabongi this summer.
The inventive chef recently described by our resident food critic as ‘a kind of piscine pimpernel on the Dublin dining scene’ has devised a lovely new menu as part of his popular Salty Buoy Truck venture in North County Dublin.
In addition to a choice of delicious Lambay Crab Claws, Poké Tacos and a special Skerries Seafood Boil, the menu also includes a gorgeous looking Surf ‘n’ Turf Roll, which comes packed with Buttered Local Lobster and dry-aged medium-rare Bavette Steak, topped with Béarnaise and Chives.
