Back with marginally less aggression and significantly more big money guests (Minaj & Drake) than his foundation-shattering Flockaveli, Waka Flocka Flame remains the master of hypnotising, meaningless, pure personality. Fame often brings a restraining A&R influence to even the least restrained rappers and that’s the case here, but the mantras remain just as powerful: Let Them Guns Blam is an eerie, threatening Southside classic, and the anthems breath without being rendered ridiculous by the poppier moments.
