Kiss Each Other Clean is a fancy dress party for timid indie tunes. Rabbits Will Run has come as Rhythm of the Saints-era Paul Simon, Tree By The River is Sufjan’s southern cousin, Monkeys Uptown is staging a clavinet make-out session on the couch and Big Burned Hand is holding court in the kitchen as a semi-convincing Tom Waits jam. They might all feel a little but embarrassed tomorrow, but it was a fun party.
