Restaurant technology platform Toast has partnered with Eclective Hospitality Group, Ireland’s largest hospitality group, in a deal that will see its systems rolled out across 25 venues nationwide.

The collaboration marks Toast’s third year operating in Ireland and reflects its growing presence in the country’s hospitality sector. Eclective’s portfolio includes some of Dublin’s best-known restaurant brands, such as Angelina’s, Elephant and Castle, and Wowburger.

The rollout aims to streamline operations across Eclective’s venues by integrating kitchen, front-of-house, and management systems into a single digital platform. The technology is designed to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance the guest experience.

Dave Mongan, Chief Operating Officer at Eclective Hospitality Group, said the partnership supports the group’s plans for continued expansion.

“As Ireland’s largest hospitality group employing 850 people across 27 venues, we need a technology partner that can scale with our ambitions while understanding the unique demands of running a restaurant in Ireland,” he said. “Toast gives us the tools that power service and allows us to focus on what matters most — creating exceptional experiences for our guests.”

Daniel Hanigan, Executive Chef at Angelina’s, said Toast’s Kitchen Display Systems are already helping improve communication and efficiency in the kitchen.

Ana Munoz, General Manager of International at Toast, described the partnership as an important milestone for the company’s Irish operations.

“Working with a group of this scale and calibre is a testament to the presence we’ve built in Ireland over the past three years,” she said. “Irish restaurants want great technology and a partner who truly understands them.”

Since entering the Irish market in 2021, Toast has partnered with several well-known hospitality businesses, including Bewley’s, Kicky’s, and OAKBERRY. The company employs local teams in customer support, R&D, sales, and marketing, and has been recognised as a Great Place to Work in Ireland.

Through its philanthropic arm, Toast.org, the company has supported several Irish community initiatives, including a €50,000 donation to Airfield Estate to develop a community garden promoting local food education.
