A conservation project in The Tenters is looking to restore some of the area’s original street name plates.

Featuring Cló Gaelach script, the distinctive green and white street name plates began appearing in Dublin in the early 1900s.

Dublin City Council Conservation Office, with support from Creative Ireland, is restoring the enamel signs with the assistance of a specialist Belfast firm Decowell Restoration.
