Admittedly, we missed the comfy red chairs of the Bord Gais at Offset last spring. They are perfect for the chance to sink back, absorb, scribble and neck crane.
The cold uprights in the Point yanked us out of our comfort zone. However, the good news is that we can reacquaint our derrières with them again as the annual design festival returns to its spiritual home.
The first batch of inspirers have been announced featuring art director Leslie David, puppet-maker Andy Gent (Isle of Dogs), illustrator Olaf Hajek, creative agency Dixon Baxi, director Oscar Hudson as well as homebirds in the form of theatre renegades Thisispopbaby and illustrator Laura Callaghan.
