A big start to 2026 for independent Irish brand T-Lainey, launching their official website and doing their first product drop of the year in the last couple of weeks.
T-Lainey (a play on “t-léine”, Irish for t-shirt) is an independent clothing brand started by Dublin-based artist and designer, Lainey Whelan. The brand produces hand printed, unique tights, designed by Lainey herself, and have been sold in iconic Dublin stores such as Nine Crows in Temple Bar.
The brand is known for its Celtic and Irish motifs (as seen in the brand’s name and logo) with Lainey stating that her love for Dublin and Ireland are where she draws most of her inspiration from.
She has produced a plethora of unique designs including tights printed with images of beautiful Dublin lampposts. Before, the products were sold through an Instagram page (@tlainey_), but as of now the brand has launched a new website to match the high demand for these fun, vibrant tights.
T-lainey.com will be doing new drops monthly, so if you don’t get yours for February, there’s always March!
