Frequently lauded for her Pre-Raphaelite features, Lorna Foran has amassed continent-crossing catwalk appearances and acclaimed editorials, all garnered from years of tireless graft.

She has walked couture weeks in head-to-toe Schiaparelli sequins and (most recently) in eccentric Jean Paul Gaultier garb. She has graced a staggering number of Condé Nast titles, her recent Vogue Mexico story evoking Alice In Wonderland-style visuals on Parisian streets… and alongside runway stints with Erdem, Margiela et al, Foran has cemented herself as a seasoned Gucci Girl.

After enchanting Alessandro Michele with her flame-red tresses, he made her a regular fixture in each of his phantasmagorical shows.

If the SS19 season was any indicator, Foran will have wrapped a full-to-the-brim schedule by the time this goes to print, having kickstarted her AW19 work with Maryam Nassir Zadeh for NYFW. But don’t be fooled by her dizzying air miles: Foran’s connections to her native Kildare seem solid as ever.
