PsyCare Ireland, the pioneering festival welfare service dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees, has just announced details of its upcoming annual benefit concert.

Taking place at Hen’s Teeth on Friday, April 26th, the special fundraising event will showcase a stellar lineup of Irish electronic acts, headlined by the internationally acclaimed Irish DJ, The Drifter, whose fusion of deep house and melodic techno sets the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable night. He will be joined by brilliant acts Cáit,  R.Kitt, and OneCanChan, each of whom will be bringing their unique flair and style to the event.

In addition to these much anticipated performances, gig goers will also have an opportunity to take part in a raffle, with a number of great prizes up for grabs, including tickets to popular Irish music festivals including Another Love Story, Fuinneamh, and In The Meadows.

The funds raised will enable PsyCare Ireland to continue offering 24-hour welfare services to those in need, including specialised substance crisis intervention and mental health support. Encouraging people to support the fundraising event, founding member Dr Kathryn Ledden said, “This benefit gig will bring together like-minded individuals who want to see a change in how we approach mental health and substance use at live music events. All proceeds will go towards PsyCare Ireland’s work supporting festival-goers in need.”

The non-profit organisation is staffed by dedicated volunteers who provide crucial psychological care and education at festivals and events nationwide. PsyCare Ireland believes that mental health services at festivals can be lifesaving, and last year it supported six festivals, including Body & Soul, Another Love Story and Fuinneamh.

The organisation, which was founded in 2021 by a passionate team of experienced professionals and festival enthusiasts, is dedicated to providing peer-to-peer welfare services and substance harm reduction information. The non-profit aims to expand its reach and continue positively impacting the mental health and safety of festival attendees nationwide.

PsyCare Ireland’s fundraising event takes place at 8pm on Friday, April 26th at Hen’s Teeth, Blackpitts, Dublin 8.

Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
