The potters at Nicholas Mosse have been busy crafting beautiful handmade cups of love for a number of years now. While chocolates, flowers and nights out are lovely ways to enjoy Valentine’s Day, sometimes it’s nice to have a more permanent reminder, and these lovely hand painted mugs work perfectly as both pieces of art and very serviceable items for every day use.

Handmade from strong earthenware, this year’s limited Valentine’s edition makes for a very special gift for that someone special. The Kilkenny based makers tell us that the hand-crafted mug comes decorated with “enough hearts to symbolize all your loves and besties from past, present and maybe future times ahead.”

Colourful deep reds combine with a cheery cherry red to form what the potters describe as “a crowded field of love sweet love, with a few little green leaves to remind us all that love grows over time.”

Designed to hold generous amounts of hot chocolate, coffee, tea, or anything else your love desires, they are scarce, but can still be ordered  online for delivery from the Design Gallery in Drogheda, where they tell us that gift wrapping is their pleasure.
