Billed as ‘a meeting point for discovery, business and networking’, an exciting new venture tailormade for the city’s wine enthusiasts launches at Smock Alley Theatre later this month.
Bringing together wineries, importers, retailers, sommeliers and fans of all things grape, the inaugural day-long event offers wine lovers a chance to explore the latest trends, discover new offerings from around the globe, meet the makers and attend an engaging masterclass or two.
With plenty of opportunities to taste, savour and learn, speakers include oeneologists and writers such as Aoife Carrigy, Tom McKernan, Sevgi Tüzel-Conghaile and John Wilson.
Speaking about WineCONNECT Dublin, founder Sevgi Tuzel-Conghaile says, “At its heart, it is not only a wine showcase. It is a meeting point for curiosity, conversation, emotion and discovery, bringing people together through wine”.
