ABOUT THE FILM
Sinéad O’Shea’s ALL ABOUT THE MONEY follows Fergie Chambers, a member of one of America’s wealthiest families, as he attempts to turn his considerable fortune against the capitalist system that made him rich. Filmed over two years, the documentary traces Chambers’ unconventional journey from establishing a communist collective in rural Massachusetts to travelling to Tunisia, while exploring the contradictions of extreme wealth, privilege and political conviction. As Chambers’ story takes increasingly unexpected turns, including his recent arrest in Spain, O’Shea offers an intimate and complex portrait of a man attempting to use his wealth to pursue a radically different vision of society.
