Treat Yourself To A Healthy Slice of Life This January

Posted 1 month ago in Food & Drink Features

Whether you’re a meat lover, a veggie enthusiast, or simply want to eat a delicious guilt-free pizza, it seems there’s a slice for everyone with Slice of Life.

The tasty 10 inch pizza created by Irish/Japanese entrepreneur, Emi Takakura last year comes packed with three of your five a day recommended vegetable servings, while the crust swaps out traditional bread dough for cauliflower, resulting in a pizza containing approximately 600 calories, nearly 28% lower than existing products.

As an added bonus all the vegetables are grown in Ireland, with all other ingredients sourced from Irish suppliers. The packaging is 100 per cent recyclable with three flavours available – tasty Pepperoni, Cheesy Marguerita and Caramelised Onion and Cherry Tomato. Pop it in the oven, and it’s ready in just twelve minutes.

Billed as Ireland’s first ever healthy pizza, the tasty new venture is notable for its commitment to offering pizzas that are not only delicious but also nutritious, made with wholesome and locally sourced ingredients.

Usually available at a RRP of €6.95, enjoy it on promotion for Healthy Jan at €4.95 in Lidl and limited Tescos until stocks last. Slice of Life is also currently available in other independent stores including Lotts & Co.
