Bookworms, bibliophiles and cocktail lovers unite!
Continuing its celebrations in honour of the 300th anniversary of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels, this month sees the Conrad Dublin hosting an immersive food and drink experience inspired by one of Ireland’s greatest literary classics.
Coinciding with Book Lovers Day this Sunday August 9th, the hotel is encouraging guests to raise a toast to Swift’s enduring legacy with a limited-edition Gulliver’s Travels Afternoon Tea, alongside a visit to Lemuel’s, the Conrad’s award-winning cocktail bar named after Swift’s legendary adventurer.

Taking inspiration from the novel’s fantastical destinations, the drinks menu invites lovers of Lilliput, Brobdingnag, Laputa and the Land of the Houyhnhnms to check out their nice selection of inventive, imaginative cocktails.
The specially themed afternoon tea follows suit, with playful pastries, savoury bites and sweet treats inspired by Gulliver’s extraordinary voyage.
Offering a fresh take on a literary masterpiece that’s been captivating readers since 1726, this is definitely a stylish way to celebrate the Dean and 300 years of Gulliver’s Travels.
Just try saying ‘Land of the Houyhnhnms’ afterwards.
