Our summer Insta feed featured plenty of teasers for The Leeson, which finally opened its doors in recent weeks.
Under wraps for the past two years, the construction hoardings recently came down on the exterior of the historic pub formerly known as The Leeson Lounge to reveal some stunning interiors by Studio Delaney.
Bellart Décor were responsible for the micro-cement finishes, and they set about creating “two completely different atmospheres through texture, colour and light.”
Explaining the process in a post on their social media channels they said, “The main seating area was finished in a muted green micro-cement with a fine grain and soft satin sheen – subtle movement that changes throughout the day depending on the lighting.”

For those wondering, “The WC areas were finished in a warm terracotta tone, with a medium-grain texture to introduce a slightly more rustic, tactile character.”
So now you know.
Sample the atmospherics before and after dark over a pint or cocktail in the bar.
