The latest innovation by the master blenders at Tullamore D.E.W. sees their multi-awarded triple blend whiskey married with 100% Natural Bohemian Honey to produce a warm, sweet, smooth liqueur with an ABV of 35%. The honey part of the new blend comes from the forest hives of Bohemia, which they tell us have a longstanding reputation for producing excellent quality honey with a richer flavour, thanks to the high proportion of Spruce trees there.
The taste profile has been evocatively described as ‘smooth vanilla and sweet honey flavours buzzing together in a bottle’, with the Offaly distillers dubbing their latest creation ‘the cheeky little brother’ to their classic Tullamore D.E.W.
The young upstart is already creating its own buzz, having bagged itself a Gold Medal at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2024. Tullamore D.E.W. Honey is now available at bars and off-licences throughout the city at an RRP of €29 per bottle.
