Forget the airfare — Spain is coming to Ireland this October, and it’s bringing its best eats and drinks with it.

The Eat Spain, Drink Spain festival is taking over venues across the country right through to October 19th, giving foodies the chance to dive into everything from jamón Ibérico to Rioja wines without even leaving Dublin.

Whether you’re a tapas addict or just want to learn how to pair wine like a boss, this festival is serving it all. Expect tapas trails, wine pairing dinners, olive oil masterclasses, and more.

Highlights include a night of Andalusian wine and food at Choquera Bistro in Tipperary and a citywide tapas crawl hosted by top wine pros Lynda Coogan and Sinéad Smyth.

If you’re into olive oil (and who isn’t these days?), you won’t want to miss Sarah & Olive’s tasting event featuring the genius cooks at Assassination Custard.

With tastings happening at Fallon & Byrne, Brindle Coffee and Wine, and even wine trails further afield in Kildare and Tipperary, this festival is basically a two-week-long Spanish fiesta.

You can follow the campaign by searching #EatSpainDrinkSpain on social media channels.
