A menu of seasonal food that includes a drink, a main course and a dessert, all for a tenner… Yes, you did read that right!

The coming month sees FoodCloud and Richmond Barracks join forces to combat food waste in a special collaboration as part of the museum’s Culture Connects programme.

Diners are invited to come and enjoy a seasonal menu that features a drink, main course and a dessert prepared by the innovative folk at FoodCloud Kitchen. The bill of fare on the evening features a range of delicious dishes made using fresh ingredients that otherwise might end up going to waste, sourced from FoodCloud’s suppliers.

Menu choices on the night include Hearty Vegetarian Stew, Slow Roast Lamb Shanks, and for dessert, Irish Apple Cake or Homemade Sherry Trifle. Members of the FoodCloud Kitchen team will also be on hand throughout the evening to give some practical tips and advice on how to avoid food waste.

The Community Dinner offers an ideal opportunity to savour some tasty, wholesome hot food before attending one of the many workshops or talks in the Barracks, while locals and visitors to the area are also welcome to drop in and enjoy some delicious food and a chat.

The event takes place on Wednesday March 6, at 5pm, with last orders at 6.30pm. Food will be available from 5 pm with last orders at 6.30 pm. As spaces are limited, booking in advance is recommended.

Tickets costing €10 include a drink, main course and a dessert, and can be booked here.
