Tradfest is back in January 2025 and, in a nifty bit of programming, is honouring Stephen Rea, the award-winning actor and big supporter of Irish arts. The four day festival will take place from Wednesday 22nd January to Sunday 25th of January at The Lark Theatre in Balbriggan, where Rea will be accompanied by various friends and collaborators – including Felispeaks, Sinead Cusack, Louise & Michelle Mulcahy, Matt Molloy, Maighread Ní Dhomnaill and Paddy Glackin – each night to discuss poetry and acting, as well as offer musical performances to the audience. A free digital exhibition showcasing Rea throughout his career will also be available at The Lark.
