Inspired by Donna Haraway’s influential text, Staying with the Trouble is a major group exhibition at IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art) runs right through to 28 September 2025. Featuring over 40 Irish and Ireland-based artists, the show explores themes of transformation, inter-species relationships, and ecological renewal through sculpture, painting, film, installation, and performance. It challenges human-centric perspectives, embracing Haraway’s ideas such as “Making Kin” and “Sowing Worlds.”
A screening programme of moving image works runs from May to September, with a special live performance event on Saturday 26 July 2025. Artists include Alice Rekab, Sam Keogh, Farouk858, Laura Ní Fhlaibhín, Michelle Malone, and more—inviting audiences to rethink kinship in a shared, complex world.
