Lovesong is a deeply moving and poignant exploration of love, memory, and the passage of time, running at The Gate Theatre from Wednesday, May 14th to Sunday, June 15th. Written by Abi Morgan, the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning writer of Shame, Suffragette, and The Iron Lady, the play tells the story of Billy and Maggie, a couple who have been married for over 40 years.
Directed by David Bolger, the Artistic Director of CoisCéim Dance Theatre, Lovesong has been hailed as “tender” and “touching” (The Guardian).
