Songwriter Greta Kline, aka Frankie Cosmos, will be filling the intimate room of the Button Factory with what her and her band do best — sweet melodies and fast tempos. The four-piece indie-pop band is touring their latest album, Vessel, which was released in March. Since the success of the 2016 LP, Next Thing, Frankie Cosmos has continued to blend introspective lyrics with soft vocals and fast drums to create what Pitchfork Magazine calls an “intentionally unassuming sound.” A selection of songs are sure to create a cozy atmosphere, such as the single “Jesse” which begins, “Me and Jesse stayed up till 2/We talked about dreams, about things, about you.” Expect head bobbing and shoulder swaying, as Frankie Cosmos takes you on a sweet sounding journey.
